Objective To investigate the personal dose level and its dynamic changes of occupational exposure from 2009 to 2013 in Wuhan and to evaluate the degree of harm of ionizing radiation and the protective effect of radiological workers in different types and types of hospitals. Methods The use of thermoluminescence dose monitoring method. Results The average annual equivalent dose of radiation workers in Wuhan was 0.76 mSv · a-1 in five years, and showed a declining trend year by year. The individual dose levels of different types of work were nuclear medicine, and the annual equivalent dose of interventional treatment was 1.77 mSv · a-1, 1.30 mSv · a-1. The high level of personal dose in township hospitals was 1.12 mSv · a-1. Conclusion Radiation workers in Wuhan occupy most of the years with lower doses of irradiation and declining year by year. Radiation protection conditions have been improved year by year. Radiation work places can basically meet the requirements of national occupational exposure limits. However, the supervision and administration of radiation protection needs to be further strengthened .
