贝尔实验室是美国朗讯科技公司研究与开发高科技产品的科研机构， 研究内容涉及晶体管、激光、ＵＮＩＸ、Ｃ／Ｃ＋ ＋ 、数字计算机、通信卫星、太阳能电池和移动电话等方面， 是全球著名重大发现的诞生地。自１９２５ 年以来， 贝尔实验室共获得２５０００ 多项专利， 同时有８ 名研究人员因他们在贝尔实验室工作的成果获得诺贝尔奖。从本期开始， 我刊将不定期地刊登贝尔实验室专家关于电信技术的新思想和新看法， 为广大读者带来世界最前沿的思想和技术。
