The Moscow Construction Institute together with the joint production company of the energy industry technology region has developed a production process for strictly controlling non-calcined ash-concrete aggregates with free calcium oxide content not exceeding 3%. When calcium ash aggregate is not calcined in the usual process, the calcium oxide in the ash is too late to digest. In the subsequent hot-working process, the particles matured, causing the volume of hardened particles to have a large amount of uneven deformation, structural damage, and cracks. At present, the construction boiler used in Chita emits 82,000 tons of furnace ash and 0.5 million tons of slag. Its free calcium oxide content is 15%.
