《庄子·天下》是中国最早的一篇学术史,颇为学者重视,关于它的作者与学术立场问题甚为重要,但历来争论不绝。对此问题,大致有两种意见,一种认为《天下》持儒家立场;一种认为《天下》为庄周或庄子后学所作,因而是道家庄子学派的立场。而实际上,《天下》是黄老学派的著作。它的总序部分所说的内圣外王之道是黄老思想发展的结果,它在评论诸家时所采取的立场也是黄老的。
“Zhuangzi the world” is China’s earliest academic history, rather scholarly attention, on its author and academic position is very important, but has never been controversial. There are generally two opinions on this issue. One is that “the world” holds a Confucian position; the one that holds that “the world” is made by Zhuang Zhou or Zhuang Zi after-school and thus is the Taoist school’s position. In fact, “the world” is the work of Huang Lao school. Its general preface says that the Saints and the Kings is the result of the development of Huang Lao’s thought and that his position taken when commenting on various houses is also Huang Lao’s.
