最近,日本川崎钢铁公司和苏联共同开发了与通常的水平连铸机铸造原理不同的新型水平连铸机,并投入工业生产。这种连铸机是在一个结晶器的两个方向拉坯的高效率水平连铸机,其原理是苏联发明的。川崎钢铁公司在水岛钢铁厂电炉车间设制了这种水平连铸机,自1987年3月起与苏联共同进行开展。双向拉坯式水平连铸机的特征: 1)在中间包和结晶器的连接部位只是使用与结晶器形状无关的小直径分离环; 2)铸坯形状(结晶器形状)不受分离环形状
Recently, Japan’s Kawasaki Steel Co., Ltd. and the Soviet Union jointly developed a new type of horizontal continuous casting machine different from the conventional horizontal continuous casting machine and put it into industrial production. The caster is a high-efficiency horizontal caster cast in two directions on a single mold, the principle of which was invented by the Soviet Union. Kawasaki Steel set up this horizontal caster at the Shizuoka Iron Works’ electric furnace plant, which has been jointly implemented with the Soviet Union since March 1987. Features of the billet horizontal continuous caster: 1) Only small diameter separation rings independent of the shape of the mold are used at the junction of the tundish and the mold. 2) The shape of the billet (mold shape) is not affected by the shape of the separating ring
