We do not understand how a scribe, a celebrity, arranges his life. How does he think about the daily dribbling? What is the significance of the scenery habits in the city? We do not understand the “common sense” of people’s lives in the past. Lee Hsiao-chuan’s book “Love Red” just make up for this lack of, is a model for the study of Ming and Qing cultural history in recent years.
