稻谷粒重是一个数量性状,可以认为其遗传力高于穗数和粒数。 稻谷粒重往往表现超亲遗传,所以有可能从小粒的亲本的杂交和选择而得到大粒的单株。根据这个原则,我们获得了千粒重达40~50克的一些品系。 谷粒长度、宽度和厚度与粒重呈显著相关,但是可以认为厚度对粒重的关系更为重要。粒长比粒宽和粒厚表现更大的超亲遗传。 超亲遗传有正向的(大于亲本)或负向的(小于亲本),但后者较为普遍。 同时我们发现粒重的变异系数较小,因此可以想象大穗大粒类型有可能使水稻在丰产性方面有所突破。
Grain weight is a quantitative trait that can be considered more heritability than the number of ears and grains. Grain weight tends to be super-progeny, so it is possible to obtain large-sized plants from the crosses and selections of small-sized parents. Based on this principle, we obtained a few lines of grain weighing 40-50 grams. Grain length, width and thickness were significantly correlated with grain weight, but it is believed that the relationship between grain weight and thickness is more important.
