王宁德早期的作品采取了双眼紧闭的形象,这在表面上来看是拒绝性的、是不欢迎交流的,但这也是在一定层面上放弃了艺术家原意强势灌输的意图,这种紧闭双眼的形态因为缺少了某些直接的线索去做判断而更加丰富和具有多义性,因而实际上它是一种更加具有开放性和更加具有互动性的一种结构。作品请观众基于画面所营造的气质和氛围去自我导引,从而将人们带入一种关于记忆的冥想和自我辩知。
