徐闻道同志的来信,根据他在工作中所闻所见,提出了怎样对学生进行思想品德教育的问题。这是当前教育工作者十分关心的事情。怎样认识青少年的特点并根据这些特点对他们进行教育?为什么说对学生进行思想品德教育必须坚持正面说服教育的原则,而不能采用压服的方法?怎样认识教育效果和动机的关系?正面说服教育与严格要求有否矛盾,怎样处理好两者的关系?怎样正确运用说服教育的原则才能把青少年儿童教育好?我们认为,搞清楚这些问题,对于提高我们的认识水平和思想觉悟,改进工作方法,更好地教育学生,把他们培养成社会主义接班人,是很有益处的。因此,本刊决定从这一期起开展“怎样进行思想品德教育?”的讨论。希望广大读者,结合自己的想法、做法和工作实践,踴跃参加讨论。要求文稿内容具体、短小精悍,灵活多样,并请在信封上注明“问题讨论”。参加讲座的稿件,一般不退,请自留底稿。
