双语教学自新世纪初提出,已经走过了十多年的历程,期间取得了相当的成绩,但问题也日益突显。最突出的问题有三个:1.高校双语教学课程体系设计不科学,没有充分考虑到学科特点。2.高校双语教学没有充分考虑学生的外语水平。3.双语教学师资力量薄弱。要解决这三个问题,必须从根本上思考双语教学开设的教学目标,慎重考虑:各学科自身发展的特点是否适合开设双语教学;也必须充分考虑授课学生的外语水平,选择难易适中的课程与教材;另外还得花力气培养合格的双语教师,解决双语教学中很突出的师资欠缺问题。
