2006年12月20日中午,当我陪同杨少华先生赶到中日医院时,马季先生已经仙逝。我们瞻仰了马季先生的遗容。24号,几乎失控的两万多人在八宝山向这位受人爱戴的艺术家作最后的诀别。几天过去了,马季先生的音容在我脑海中反复涌现,往事历历在目。
