In recent years, with the continuous unearthed primitive porcelain throughout the country and the discovery of the original porcelain kiln in the south, the research on the Chinese ceramics archeology has been paid more and more attention. At present, there is a heated discussion in the academic community about the origin of primitive porcelain, mainly focusing on two points of view: “Origin of the South” and “Origin of the North”. Northern China unearthed a large number of primitive porcelain, distributed in a wide range of areas, mainly in Henan, Shandong, Shaanxi, Hebei and other “Central Plains cultural circle” and its vicinity. Shape is more uniform, with the local pottery, bronze ritual approximation, tire quality, glaze, etc. have also been a trend. And the primitive porcelain of the north is mainly unearthed in high-grade architectural sites and tombs, when related to its preciousness. In addition, compared with the unearthed in the south, there are both commonalities and differences. The origin of the Shang and Zhou original porcelain unearthed in the northern region is mainly the southern region, but does not rule out the possibility of local burning in the north.
