泥石流是我国山区常见的一种水土流失，其暴发突然，灾害严重，涉及面广，损失极大。以吉林省通化县１９９８０８１２泥石流为例，对吉林省东部泥石流进行初步分类分析，建立泥石流防治工程体系。对加强水土保持，防治东北低山丘陵区泥石流具有一定指导意义。
Debris flow is a kind of common soil and water loss in mountainous area of our country. Its outbreak is sudden, the disaster is serious, covering a wide range and losing a great deal. Taking the debris flow of 19980812 in Tonghua County of Jilin Province as an example, preliminary analysis of the debris flow in the east of Jilin Province was carried out to establish the debris flow prevention and control engineering system. It is of guiding significance for strengthening soil and water conservation and preventing and controlling the debris flow in the hilly area of Northeast China.
