眼外伤对视力有严重损害,且发生率较高,并对非外伤之另一眼也有着严重的威胁,而直接影响患者的生活、学习和工作。同时由于眼外伤的致伤原因复杂,不同的工作与生活环境,以及有害于儿童的玩具,均有引起各类眼外伤的可能。眼外伤的统计分析是预防工作的一项重要参考内容。本科曾于1959年分析了自1949年至1958年10年中344例眼外伤的住院病人,为了使这项工作内容更加充实,今将我科自1959年1月至1961年12月三年来所见之眼外伤住院病人173人次,共189只眼,试作分析报告于后。
