The “Teoganis Collection,” now owned by Theognis of Megara (about 6th century BC), is now an important “seal” metaphor. The surface metaphor of this metaphor lies in the proof and maintenance of the poet’s ownership of his poem. Based on the characteristics of the ancient Greek poetry subordinated to The Book of Poetry, this essay examines how the “stamp” of Theo Ge Nesian contains the special way of the “old poet” to convey “wisdom” for the study of the history of thoughts. Through its superficial interpretation, the purpose of this paper is to show that the real utility of “seal” is to ensure that “wisdom” is conveyed and accepted accurately.
