辽宁电台文艺广播试播于1982年10月,正式播出于1992年10月,是全国立体声试播最早的电台之一。现隶属于辽宁人民广播电台。调频发射（FM95.9）,覆盖辽宁大部分地区,可以清晰地听到高保真的立体声广播。辽宁电台文艺广播在各级领导的关怀下,在各界朋友的支持下,二十年来,曾制作播出了许多在社会上有影响的广播文艺作品,同时也为推出在国内和省内很有影响的知名艺术家和音乐人,如秦咏诚、铁源、王刚、刘兰芳、胡宏伟、宫云湘、董文华、刘辉、朱玉、那英、艾敬等做出了应有的贡献。许多优秀的文艺作品和歌曲是由本台最先录制播出的,如长篇小说《夜幕下的哈尔滨》、歌剧《苍原》、《沧海》、老舍名剧《茶馆》、歌曲《十五的月亮》、《梦故乡》、《祖国赞美诗》、舞剧音乐《珍珠湖》、《海盗》、《月牙五更》等。辽宁电台文艺广播还连续成功举办六届有一定权威性和影响力的中国原创歌曲评选颁奖晚会暨歌曲创作研讨会,同时还举办过多种形
