盆景是以植物、山石、土、水等自然物为主要材料,通过园艺栽培和艺术创作,在盆中浓缩大自然优美景色的艺术品。中国盆景已有一千几百年历史,近代曾一度衰落。自上世纪七十年代末,中国盆景开始恢复,并在理论研究上取得初步的成果。但限于当时的条件,这些理论成果尚不完善。近三十年来,中国盆景发展迅猛,史无前例,创作实践的水平有了极大的提高,但理论研究相对滞后,特别是许多基本的概念尚有模糊之处。为了更好地适应当前盆景发展的需要,很有必要对一些基础理论再作深入探讨,以求得到共识。
Bonsai is a plant, rocks, soil, water and other natural materials as the main material, cultivation and art through the horticultural production, concentrated in the basin of natural beauty of the artwork. Chinese bonsai has a history of a few hundred years, and modern times once declined. Since the late seventies of last century, Chinese bonsai began to recover and achieved initial results in theoretical research. However, due to the conditions of the time, these theoretical achievements are not perfect. In the recent three decades, the development of bonsai in China has been developing rapidly with unprecedented precedent and the level of creative practice has been greatly improved. However, the theoretical research lags behind. In particular, many basic concepts are ambiguous. In order to better adapt to the needs of the current development of bonsai, it is necessary to further explore some of the basic theory in order to reach consensus.
