Public documents are common application styles in daily life. Studying the linguistic features of public documents can greatly benefit language learning. The official documents have their own uniqueness in the selection and application of sentence patterns: First, the statements and imperative sentences are widely used in official documents. Declarative sentences are used to objectively and explicitly state facts from the front or the back, explain problems, and convey information; imperative sentences are used to make requests or regulations.
