本文结合笔者的教学实践,对因受中英两种不同文化思维影响而产生的学生在英文写作上的句子形合(hypotaxis)障碍作了实例剖析和理论探讨:一、因汉语重意合(parataxis)而引起的零指前(zero-anaphoric reference)现象所造成的英语句子形合障碍:二、因汉语语义粘连(coherence)少用衔接手段(cohesive devices)所带来的英语句子形合障碍;三、因汉语人文文化和英语科学文化的思维冲突引起的主题(topic)和主语(subject)的选换和确定所引起的英语句子形合障碍。由此,笔者从文化思维冲突的角度,从理论上探索了学生写作英语句子存在的形合障碍问题,为改进学生的英语写作提供了新见解。
Based on the author’s teaching practice, this article gives an example analysis and theoretical discussion of the hypotaxis disorder in English writing that is caused by the influence of two different cultural thinking styles: First, due to parataxis ) Caused by the zero-anaphoric reference phenomenon: Second, due to the Chinese semantic cohesion (less cohesive devices) brought by the combination of English sentences barrier disorder; Third, obstacles in English sentences caused by the exchange and determination of topics and subjects due to the conflict of thinking between Chinese culture and English science and culture. Therefore, from the perspective of cultural thinking conflict, the author explores the problem of the combination of obstacles in English writing of students ’writing in theory, which provides new insights for improving students’ English writing.
