With the continuous development of optoelectronic technology and its applications, self-doubling frequency laser has drawn more and more attention. Since frequency doubling laser is a special kind of laser, it makes use of the nonlinear effect of matrix to convert the fundamental frequency light generated by activated ion stimulated radiation, so that the laser can output both fundamental frequency light and double frequency light. Compared with the separate frequency doubled laser, the frequency doubling laser simplifies the laser design and enhances the practical benefits of the laser.
