工作地区位于甘肃北山南部的柳园—音凹峡多金属成矿带,是我省近几年来开展地质矿产工作的重点地区之一。自五十年代以来在该区一直进行不同比例尺的地质矿产调查工作,积累了丰富的地质矿产资料,但其找矿效益进展缓慢。为了进一步提高地质研究程度和找矿效益,充分发挥大比例尺自然彩色航片的优势,对K—47—98—B(红山)幅进行了1:5万区调工作。在较短的时间内,仅以7名地质人员,不但较好地完成了区调任务,而且还找到了金场沟金银矿、红山井南钨钼矿和音凹峡菱镁
