1960-70年代在西方出现了中国现代作家本体研究的潮流,集中把中国现代作家群推向世界,这一时期的西方研究者立足于作家本体,倾心发掘作家的生命形态,在域外视野的基础上形成特殊的研究视角和问题意识,致力发掘一些受埋没或边缘化的作家。他们与被研究的作家在精神气质、生命理念、情感体验发生跨时空的深层感应。
