我国目前的体育教学理论中对充满趣味与竞赛性并能科学合理地锻炼学生身心的“小项目”教学法并未进行充分的探讨和研究,“小项目”教学法是针对体育教学中的田径、球类、体操、武术等大的教学项目而言的,特指那些不被列入常见的体育比赛项目,未形成系统完整的教学理论和模式与评价体系,规则灵活多样的运动项目的总称。它有着普遍性高、运动方式与规则简单、充满游戏性与趣味性、场地局限性和天气局限性小等特征,对中学生的身心发展能起到良好的作用,易于推广和运用。
