本文首先从形态上分析了un-V-able格式派生词的歧义性,之后调查了中国英语学习者在语境中对该格式歧义词的解读情况。结果显示,语言水平和语境类别对其解读有显著影响,但构词成分的频率不起作用。解读过程遵循顺序通达模型,表现出强烈的右分支解读偏向,即使是高水平学习者也很难通达左分支解读。因为中国英语学习者的形态表征不完整,形态分析与计算不够灵活。
In this paper, the disambiguation of un-V-able format derivative is first analyzed morphologically and then the Chinese EFL learners’ interpretation of the format ambiguity in context is investigated. The results show that language proficiency and contextual categories have a significant effect on their interpretation, but the frequency of word formation does not work. The reading process follows the sequential accessibility model and shows a strong skewed interpretation of the right branch, making it difficult for even high-level learners to access the left branch. Because of the incomplete morphological representation of Chinese EFL learners, morphological analysis and calculation are not flexible enough.
