The main drawback of endoscopic and intranasal sinus surgery is the difficulty of the operator in locating and orienting, thereby increasing the risk of serious complications. The reported anatomical data are intended to help those with intranasal or endoscopic sinus surgery avoid such complications. Fifty dead bodies from 50 individuals were measured and their age was estimated at 40 to 90 years. There was no history of anatomical variation, trauma or surgery. Starting from the base of the columella, the base of the nose measures the distance (mm) and bevel (degrees) of various structures, or just the distance measured.
