混凝土强度一直是制订规范和控制质量的基础。随着混凝土按重量比配制得以保证其强度的同时,水泥用量在减少而水灰比明显地增大;从而引起人们对腐蚀环境中混凝土性质的重视。为此,英国规范CP110于1972年提出除应注意混凝土强度外,尚应保证混凝土耐久性的特性;并规定了在严重腐蚀条件下混凝土中水泥含量的上、下限和水灰比
Concrete strength has always been the basis for formulating specifications and controlling quality. As the concrete is prepared by the weight ratio to ensure its strength, the amount of cement is reduced and the water-cement ratio is significantly increased, thereby causing people to pay attention to the nature of the concrete in a corrosive environment. For this reason, the British Specification CP110 proposed in 1972 that in addition to the strength of the concrete, the durability of the concrete should be guaranteed; and the upper and lower limits of the cement content in the concrete and the water-cement ratio under severe corrosion conditions should be specified.
