今年一月,上海翻译出版公司出版了江泽民同志的早年译作《机械制造厂电能的合理使用》一书。这是我国翻译界的一件喜事。江泽民同志置身于我国翻译队伍之中,使我们倍感亲切。江泽民同志一贯重视外语的学习和应用,能用英语、俄语和罗马尼亚语三种语言与外宾口头交流并阅读有关文献。《机械制造厂电能的合理使用》是江泽民同志早年担任长春第一汽车制造厂动力分厂厂长时,在繁忙的工作之余挤出时间译出的。原书虽出版于1958年,但书中阐明的节能的基本原理、节能的计算方法、实验步骤以及一些节能措施至今对我国仍然适用。它不但对机械工业许多部门有
In January this year, Shanghai Translation Publishing Company published Comrade Jiang Zemin’s early translation of “The Rational Use of Electric Energy by Machinery Manufacturing Plants.” This is a happy event for our translation community. Comrade Jiang Zemin has always been in the team of translators in our country, making us feel more cordial. Comrade Jiang Zemin has always attached importance to the study and application of foreign languages and can verbally communicate with foreign guests in English, Russian and Romanian and read the relevant documents. “The rational use of electricity in mechanical manufacturing plants” was translated by Comrade Jiang Zemin out of his busy work time when he was the director of Changchun First Automobile Works Power Plant in his early years. Although the original book was published in 1958, the basic principle of energy saving, the calculation method of energy saving, experimental steps and some energy-saving measures stated in the book are still applicable to our country.
