芯片技术热门 Trilogy公司正在研究大片集成技术。这种技术将把全部的电路做在一个2.5英寸见方的大硅片上,而不需要象目前一样把数百个芯片焊在电路板上。这一技术比目前的集成技术高出一个数量级,是集成电路生产的新高峰。比大片集成技术还要高几个数量级的新技术是生物芯片。计算机工业界人士说,生物芯片只有现在的硅芯片的500分之一,但可能需过80年后才能做成功。冷门 IBM公司、贝尔公司以及Sperry公司都于去年宣布放弃约瑟夫逊结电路的研究,这等于给约瑟夫逊技术判了死刑。计算机系统热门微型机是一个大热门。目前美国共有154家微型机硬件生产厂家,微型机机种达765种,微型机软件公司有数百家之多。
Hot Chip Technology Trilogy is working on large-scale integration technologies. This technology will make the entire circuit on a large 2.5-inch square silicon wafer without the need to solder hundreds of chips on the circuit board as it currently does. This technology is an order of magnitude higher than the current integration technology and is the new peak in IC production. A new technology that is several orders of magnitude higher than large-scale integration technology is a biochip. According to computer industry sources, biochips are only one-fifth the size of today’s silicon chips, but it may take more than 80 years before they can succeed. Unpopular IBM, Bell, and Sperry all announced last year that they would abandon the study of the Josephson junction circuit. This would amount to the death penalty for Josephson’s technology. Computer system popular minicomputer is a big hit. At present, there are 154 microcomputer hardware manufacturers in the United States, 765 micro-computer models, and hundreds of micro-computer software companies.
