申请信主要用于求职、求学、申请奖学金等。申请人的语气既要自信又要礼貌，需恰如其分。信件内容应写得简明流畅，言简意赅。申请信包括三个部分：（1）说明写信目的（申请原因）；（2）介绍自己（教育背景、兴趣爱好、特长等）；（3）表达请求和盼复。并可根据写作的具体要求，留下自己的联系方式。
