LDL样脂蛋白与Lp(a)不同之处就在于前者比后者多个载脂蛋白(a)[apo(a)]。
Lipoprotein (a) [Lp (a)] is a low-density lipoprotein (LDL) -like lipoprotein. LDL-like lipoproteins are the major risk factors for atherosclerosis. The difference between LDL-like lipoproteins and Lp (a) is that the former is more apolipoprotein (a) [apo (a)] than the latter. The apo (a) gene structure is homologous to plasminogen. Competition for apo (a) with plasminogen activity may explain some of the pathophysiological issues associated with Lp (a). Six highly related genes have now been identified and at least four related genes have been found near at least overlapping genomic clones. Currently studying the regulation of apo (a) gene expression, the human apo (a) gene is inserted into transgenic mice, which leads to arterial damage in transgenic mice.
