郑卫之音在产生之初,指的是春秋时期周朝诸侯国郑国和卫国的民间音乐;而伴随着后世学者尤其是秦汉儒家学者的批评与阐释,它在理论指向上发生了两次变异:先秦儒家的批评中,它是与雅乐对立的春秋战国时期以郑国、卫国民间音乐为代表的所有世俗音乐的总称;两汉学者的批评中,它不仅指《郑风》《卫风》这种反映男女之情的“淫荡”的文学作品,还指“新声”、桑间濮上之音这种不好的音乐,且被视为是靡靡之音一样的存在。
The beginning of the sound of Zheng Wei refers to the folk music of Zheng Guowei and Weiguo in the Zhou Dynasty during the Spring and Autumn Period. In the criticisms of Han scholars, it not only refers to “Zheng Feng” and “Wei Feng” The “sensuality” literary works that reflect the love of men and women also refer to such bad music as “New Voice” and “Son of Song”, and are regarded as the existence of extravagant sounds.
