目的对梅县人民医院新生儿进行α-地中海贫血脐血筛查,为临床诊断和预防提供实验室依据。方法于胎儿娩出切断脐带时,收集胎盘端脐带血液样本,电泳检测Hb Bart’s含量。结果 1 501例新生儿共检出α-地中海贫血者192例,占12.8%。静止型、标准型、中间型、重型患儿比例分别为35.42%、55.21%、7.29%、2.08%,以标准型居多。各型患儿男女性别发病比例差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论 Hb Bart’s是目前临床检测α-地中海贫血的一项重要的生物指标,对于早期筛查α-地中海贫血基因携带具有积极作用,可提高优生优育水平。
Objective To investigate the screening of α-thalassemia cord blood in newborns of Meixian People’s Hospital and provide laboratory evidence for clinical diagnosis and prevention. Methods When the umbilical cord was cut off from the fetus, blood samples of umbilical cord at the placenta were collected and Hb Bart’s content was detected by electrophoresis. Results A total of 192 α-thalassemia cases were detected in 1 501 newborns, accounting for 12.8%. The proportion of still type, standard type, intermediate type and heavy type children were 35.42%, 55.21%, 7.29% and 2.08% respectively, mostly in standard type. There was no significant difference in the incidence of male or female in each type of children (P> 0.05). Conclusion Hb Bart’s is an important bioassay for the clinical detection of α-thalassemia. It plays a positive role in early screening of α-thalassemia genes and can improve the level of prenatal and postnatal care.
