于1997年以2个粳稻和4个籼稻半矮秆品种作材料,对不同矮源苗期对GA3的反应进行了研究。结果表明:用不同浓度的GA3溶液处理水稻幼苗,各矮源的苗高都显著增长,与对照相比差异达极显著水平,但具不同矮秆基因的品种对GA3的反应不同,同样具有sd1矮秆基因的籼型矮源矮仔粘和粳型矮源黎明对GA3的反应也不一样,在一定的浓度下,随着GA3处理时间的延长,各矮源的苗高增长率呈现不同的变化规律;在籼稻品种中,处理4d后,半矮秆基因sd1对GA3反应的敏感性强于其它半矮秆基因;在粳稻中,处理7d前,对GA3反应敏感性强弱顺序为sd1>sds(t)。α淀粉酶诱导的研究表明:GA3对水稻胚乳α淀粉酶的诱导活性与水稻是否具有sd1基因无关。
