东北特钢集团把出口工作当作企业长期的战略措施,把参与国际市场竞争作为实现可持续发展的必由之路,在集团公司全体员工的艰辛努力下,2004年累计出口钢材82112吨,全年创汇7907万美元,完成计划的118%,比2003年提高242%,创“三钢”历史最高水平。东北特钢集团成立后,进出口工作首先整合,三地的客户也整合成一个资源。公司适时制订和实施国际化市场经营战略,工作颇有效果。东北特钢集团大型化、大集团化的优势正逐渐显现出来。作为年产200万吨以上且几乎所有特钢都能生产的规模企业,美国、日本等国的报纸纷纷报道和关注。国外许多大的公司开始谋求与东北特钢集团的合作,为东北特钢集团参与国际市场竞争创造了良好环境。
