党的十七大是在我国改革发展关键阶段召开的一次十分重要的大会。大会批准的胡锦涛同志代表十六届中央委员会所做的报告,描绘了在新时代条件下继续全面建设小康社会、加快推进社会主义现代化的蓝图,为继续推动党和国家事业发展指明了方向,是团结带领全国各族人民坚定不移走中国特色社会主义道路、在新的历史起点上继续发展中国特色社会主义的政治宣言和行动纲领,是未来全国各项工作的思想核心。
The 17th CPC National Congress is a very important conference held at the crucial stage of our country’s reform and development. The report approved by the General Assembly on behalf of the 16th Central Committee of Comrade Hu Jintao portrays the blueprint of continuing to build a well-off society in an all-round way under the conditions of a new era and speeding up the socialist modernization, pointing out the direction for continuing to promote the development of the party and the country. To unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups across the country to unswervingly follow the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and continue to develop the political manifesto and program of action for socialism with Chinese characteristics from the new historical starting point is the core of thinking for all tasks in the country in the future.
