天网恢恢——暗杀李公朴、闻一多的重要凶手蔡云祈落网记

1951年1月20日,上海《大公报》刊登了一则消息称:解放前在昆明制造杀害李公朴、闻一多血案的直接策划者、前国民党云南警备司令部稽查处处长王子民,已于1月10日在成都被判处死刑并执行枪决。这张报纸在苏北引起了一个读者的注意,最终把参与暗杀李、闻先生的一个重要凶手送上刑场。 这个读者是一名商贩,江苏盐城人。他是在南通如皋做买卖时看到《大公报》的。当他看到报上说王子民供称是由蔡文其开枪暗杀了闻一多先生时,心中产生了疑问:这个蔡文其会不会就是家乡的蔡云祈? 他的怀疑并非毫无缘由。这个蔡云祈解放前曾任国民党第十六绥靖区司令部中校参谋,蔡的妹夫就是商贩的族侄。1946年,他到上海做生意时,在其族侄处见到过蔡,当时蔡云祈吹嘘说什么“昆明地方出了乱子,宪兵无法镇压,请我到场,三言两语就解决了”。1950年春,他在家乡又遇到蔡云祈时,蔡反复叮嘱他:“过去的事,请不要说了!”他想,李、闻惨案发生时,蔡云祈就在昆明,如果象蔡自己说的,那他很可能就参与了对李、闻的暗杀。而报上所说的 On January 20, 1951, Shanghai’s Ta Kung Pao published a source saying that before the liberation, Wang Zimin, the director of the inspection department of the former Kuomintang Yunnan Garrison Command, and the direct planner of killing Li Gongpu and Wen Yiduo’s bloodshed in Kunming, On January 10, he was sentenced to death and executed in Chengdu. When he saw the newspaper saying that the prince was claimed to have been shot by Cai Wenqi and assassinated Mr. Wen Yiduo, he wondered whether this Cai Wenqi would be Cai Yunqi from his hometown. His suspicion was not without cause. Before this liberation, Tsai Yun-chih was a former lieutenant-colonel commander of the 16th Kuomintang appeasement headquarters. Tsai’s brother-in-law was the clan of the vendors. In 1946, when he came to Shanghai to do business, he met Cai in his clan’s nephew. At that time, Cai Yunqi boasted that “what happened in Kunming was something went wrong and the gendarmes could not be suppressed. Please come to the scene and have a few words to solve.” In the spring of 1950, when he met Cai Yunqi again in his hometown, Cai repeatedly told him: “In the past, please do not say that!” He thought that when Lee and Wen tragedhed, Cai Yunqi was in Kunming, He said, he probably participated in the assassination of Li, Wen.
