The relationship between the Doppler frequency shift and the moving speed of the measured moving object and the main technical performance requirements of the laser illumination light source are expounded when the laser speed measurement method is used to measure the speed continuously. Taking JSG-2 point velocity anemometer as an example, its composition, signal characteristics and final velocity information processing method are described. The latest development and application of surface and line imaging laser interferometer and optical fiber transmission velocimeter with two-dimensional and one-dimensional spatial resolution are introduced.
