(一) 上海市档案馆于一九五九年十二月经市委批准,在中共上海市档案馆筹备处和上海市国家档案馆筹备处的基础上建立,是直属市委、市府领导的科学文化事业机构,是保存上海地区档案史料的基地,是科学研究和各方面工作利用档案史料的中心。上海市档案馆成立后,在档案的收集、整理、保管、鉴定、统计和提供利用等方面做了一系列工作,“文革”前馆的建设已初具规模。十年内乱,机构被撤销,馆的工作遭受了严重的破坏。十一届三中全会以后,一九七九年九月恢复了建制,并进行了一系列的恢复、整顿工作。随着国家经济建设和历史科学研究的发展,馆藏档案的重要作用越来越被人们所重视。
(1) The Shanghai Archives was approved by the municipal party committee in December 1959 and was established on the basis of the Preparatory Office of the Shanghai Municipal Archives and the Preparatory Office of the Shanghai National Archives. It is a scientific and cultural city directly under the leadership of the municipal party committee and municipal government Business institutions, is to save the archives in Shanghai area base, is the center of scientific research and use of historical materials in all aspects of work. After the establishment of the Shanghai Archives, a series of work was done on the collection, collation, custody, appraisal, statistics and provision of archives. The construction of the pre-Cultural Revolution Hall has begun to take shape. After 10 years of civil strife, the organization was revoked and the museum’s work suffered serious damage. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the system was resumed in September 1979 and a series of restoration and rectification work was carried out. With the development of national economic construction and historical scientific research, the important role of archives has been paid more and more attention.
