我国档案高等教育始于20世纪30年代,但作为国家办学则是形成于20世纪50年代,发展于20世纪80年代.不论是首创时期,还是形成与发展时期,都是由社会变革引起的档案专业教育变革的结果.就是说,我国档案高等教育每前进一步,都是与变革分不开的.尤其是80年代的变革,推动了我国档案高等教育的大发展,为建设有中国特色的档案事业培养和输送了相当数量的中、高级人才.进入90年代以后,由于社会变革的洪流滚滚向前,这就必然进一步促使档案高等教育的变革不断向深度与广度发展.一、我国档案高等教育变革的回顾我国古代有关档案管理知识的传授,主要是靠世袭方式进行的.到20世纪30年代,由于生产社会化和西方资本主义教育思想的影响,由私立武昌文华图书馆学专科学校迈出了档案专业教育改革的第一步,首创档案管理特种教席,随后不久即在该校内附设档案管理专科.尽管这一变革还只能说是我国档案高等教
