A little cultural knowledge of Chinese, probably did not know “the rise and fall of the world, every man has the responsibility.” When the motherland is at a critical juncture, this famous saying has inspired countless clerical benevolent people to “go all out to defend the Iraqis.” Their huge role is self-evident. When I read Gu Yanwu’s famous book, “Daily Record,” I know that the exact meaning of this sentence is not exactly the same as the traditional understanding. This sentence is implied from a passage in the “Beginning of the Day” section of the “Daily Record.” The original text is “so that the world is known to protect the world, and then to protect their country.
