从1972年到2012年的40年间,北京市农林科学院蔬菜研究中心白菜遗传育种课题组一直在研究和培育优质、抗病、丰产、耐贮藏的大白菜品种。中国的白菜有2000多个品种,仅在北京地区就有近300个白菜品种。北京市民吃的大白菜中,有八成就是由他们培育出来的。如今,白菜个头变小了,吃起来口感变好了,营养更丰富了,颜色也多样了白菜不再仅仅是白帮绿叶,彩色白菜也培育成功,逐渐走进市民餐桌。
From 1972 to 2012 40 years, Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Vegetable Research Center of Chinese cabbage genetic breeding team has been studying and cultivating high quality, disease resistance, high yield, resistant to storage of Chinese cabbage varieties. There are more than 2,000 varieties of Chinese cabbage, with nearly 300 cabbage varieties in Beijing alone.
