带3蛋白(Band 3)是人红细胞膜上的主要蛋白质,具有阴离子转运的功能.它是目前被研究得最广泛的膜蛋白之一.从结构上看,Band 3可分成两个结构域.其中膜结构域负责其阴离子转运功能,而细胞质结构域则与细胞膜骨架蛋白(如锚蛋白ankyrin等)相联从而起到稳定膜骨架的作用.尽管细胞质结构域对于Band 3膜结构域的阴离子转运功能并不是必需的,然而最近有些证据表明这两个结构域之间可能存在一定的联系,但迄今为止人红细胞Band 3两个结构域之间通讯的分子机制和结构基础仍不清楚.
Band 3 is the major protein on the membrane of human erythrocytes and functions as an anion transporter. Band 3 is one of the most widely studied membrane proteins. Band 3 can be divided into two domains. In which the membrane domain is responsible for its anion transport function and the cytoplasmic domain is linked to the cytoskeletal proteins such as the ankyrin etc. to stabilize the membrane cytoskeleton.Although the cytoplasmic domain is responsible for anion transport to the Band 3 membrane domain Function is not necessary, however, some evidence shows that there may be some connection between the two domains. However, the molecular mechanism and structural basis of the communication between two domains of human erythroblast Band 3 so far are still unclear.
