西安交通大学医学部基础医学院人体解剖与组织胚胎学系由原人体解剖学教研室和组织胚胎学教研室于2005年1月合并而成立,现有教职工36人。人体解剖学科始建于1937年北平医学院,后转为西北医学院解剖科,当时同时承担人体解剖学和组织胚胎学两门课程的教学。
