蘇州市的中等學校物理教師,解放以後,在市文教局和市教育工會的領導下,早在1952年上半年就已經組識起來進行學習蘇聯和改革教學的工作。到江蘇師範學院在蘇州創校以後,在該校物理系主持下,組職了蘇州市中等以上學校物理教學研究會,這一工作就更經常化了。一年以來,除了局部的集會以外,先後共計舉行過七次全體規模的集會,進行了教材研究、問題討論、經驗交流和實驗演示等工作,大大推動了物理教師鑽研與工作的熱情。最近,中國物理學會蘇州分會正式成立,相信今後在分會的指導和推動下,物理教學活動將得到進一步的開展。在今年3月14日蘇州物理學會分會成立那天下午,舉行了一個蘇州市各校教師自製物理儀器的展覽會。參加展覽的儀器總數近一百件,就它們的作用和效果來說,可歸納爲罵下列幾類:

Textbook research, discussion of problems, exchange of experiences and experimental demonstrations have been carried out, which has greatly promoted the enthusiasm of the physics teachers in their studies and work. Recently, the Suzhou branch of the Chinese Society of Physics was formally established. I believe that under the guidance and promotion of the club, physics teaching activities will be further carried out. In the afternoon of March 14 this year, when the branch of Suzhou Physical Society was established, an exhibition of home-made physical instruments by teachers from various schools in Suzhou was held. The total number of instruments participating in the exhibition is nearly 100 pieces. As far as their effect and effect are concerned, they can be summed up in the following categories:
