肿瘤和白血病的发生与基因组印记有关,慢粒白血病的abl基因来自父方,bcr基因来自母方。父源和母源染色体上的某些等位基因有时不能互相替代,如果其中相关的基因被印记,就可能发生肿瘤,印记往往是基因发生了甲基化。基因组印记与杂合性缺失常联合促成肿瘤的发生。
The occurrence of cancer and leukemia is related to the genomic imprinting. The abl gene of chronic myelogenous leukemia is from the father and the bcr gene is from the mother. Some alleles on the paternal and maternal chromosomes can sometimes not be substituted for each other. If the relevant gene is imprinted, tumors may occur and the gene is often methylated. Genomic imprinting and loss of heterozygosity often contribute to tumorigenesis.
