The constructivist view of learning holds that learning is not a process in which a teacher simply passes on knowledge to a student but a student’s own knowledge-building. In the process of learning, students do not passively receive information, but rather take the initiative to construct the meaning of knowledge based on the original knowledge and experience. “Compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards” pointed out: Emphasis should be placed on learning mathematics and comprehension of mathematics from students’ practical experience and existing knowledge.
