应我国煤炭工业部的邀请,澳大利亚钢铁有限公司岩石力学与岩层管理研究所所长、国际岩石力学学会欧洲分会主席A.J.哈格瑞夫斯博士于1980年10月26日至11月11日来我国访问。10月26日至11月4日期间,哈格瑞夫斯博士先后参观访问了北京矿务局、大同矿务局和煤炭工业部煤炭科学研究院,并与我国的科技人员就矿井瓦斯和地压方面的问题举行了技术座谈,之后,于11月5日到达重庆。
At the invitation of China’s Ministry of Coal Industry, Dr. AJ Hargrave, the director of the Institute of Rock Mechanics and Rock Management of Australian Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and the chairman of the European Branch of the International Society for Rock Mechanics, came to visit China from October 26 to November 11, 1980 .
