研究了新型引发剂、抗氧性单体和不同包层工艺对聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯 (PMMA)阶跃型塑料光纤损耗的影响。发现利用含氟自由基引发聚合高纯甲基丙烯酸甲酯 (MMA)、加入抗氧性单体、采用共挤氟树脂包层工艺能很好地降低塑料光纤损耗。本实验室采用以上材料和工艺制备出了最低损耗为 192dB/km(65 0nm )的塑料光纤 ,与国外同类产品损耗水平 (2 0 0dB/km左右 )相当
The effects of new initiator, antioxidant monomer and different cladding technologies on the loss of PMMA step type plastic optical fiber were studied. It was found that the use of fluorinated free radical initiated polymerization of high purity methyl methacrylate (MMA), adding antioxidant monomer, co-extruded fluororesin cladding process can be very good to reduce plastic fiber loss. The laboratory using the above materials and processes to prepare a minimum loss of 192dB / km (65 0nm) plastic optical fiber, and similar foreign products loss level (about 20 0dB / km or so)
