2015年,江西省老年教育事业步入了“而立之年”。以创办于1988年的九江市老年大学为中心的全市老年教育工作也日益蓬勃红火。在各级党委、政府的重视支持和组织、老干部部门的直接领导下,一大批老同志和老年教育工作者满怀热情、积极投身老年教育事业。经过27年的艰苦创业,全市老年大学初具规模,形成体系,为积极应对人口老龄化,促进老年人身心健康和九江的社会和谐、改革发展做出重要贡献。
In 2015, Jiangxi Province’s elderly education entered a “year of independence.” The elderly education in the city, which is centered around the elder university in Jiujiang City founded in 1988, is also booming. Under the direct support of the Party committees and governments at all levels and their support and organization as well as the veteran cadres departments, a large number of old comrades and elderly educators enthusiastically join themselves in the education for the aged. After 27 years of arduous pioneering, the city’s elder universities have taken shape and formed a system, making an important contribution to the positive response to population aging, the promotion of physical and mental health of the elderly and the social harmony and reform and development of Jiujiang.
