By comparing hardware equipment,expenses,personnel structure,management systems,and personnel training of the literature conservation and repair in Guangdong and Hong Kong(HK),SAR,this paper analyzes the focus,technical basis and development direction of library work and discusses the similarities and differences in the conservation and repair of library literature in the two areas,so as to learn from each other,and promote the mutual development of the library literature conservation and repair in the two areas.
